golang-src software package provides Go programming language compiler - source files, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-src
golang-src is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-src package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-src *
You will get with golang-src package name, version, architecture and description in a table
